When the time has come to say goodbye

One of the most thoughtful things we can do for our animal friends is to help them with their journey when their time on earth and their mission has come to a closing. I also experienced my Baron in his final days….when I was so emotionally distraught….I took the last 2 months of his life off of work. Instead of spending time with him talking about how he impacted me and walking through all of our beautiful memories….I cried…every minute of every hour and wasted my precious time with him. If I could turn back time I would do things so differently in his last days.

If there is one thing I hope to do for others, is to help you see these final days as a blessing as it will give you the opportunity to be sure to tell them all of the wonderful memories they have helped create…what they have done for you and your family – being in your life and what you have learned from them. Do the things that you both loved to do… Allow this time to be a celebration of life. It is my biggest regret, grieving the death of my Baron while he was still alive. It wasn’t until much later, during an animal communication session, that I found out how stressful that was on him.

From sessions that I have had with animals living and passed….I commonly hear that they felt bad that they made their guardians sad or stressed. So, as hard as it might be…..try and see this time as an opportunity to celebrate their life and journey to a place where they will be running and playing ball or whatever crazy thing they always liked to do….because it is this act of complete and utter kindness that you are going to help them on their journey.

We make a pact with these beings that come in to our life that we will always protect them from harm and always makes the best decisions on their interest. We OWE it to them to do the most loving and selfless thing we can do….

Last, but not least: please know that they will never leave you….they will be hanging out with you in spirit. You just wait and see.
